Thank you so kindly Carolina and Adrián for hosting our family for a wonderful and very memorable stay at Alto Castillo. The cabins are a remarkable immersion in nature, beauty and comfort, while the lodge offers some of the best cuisine we have had in our six months in Chile. An amazing location and very unique experience all around. We look forward to our return.Posted on Google Simon HutchinsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stayed there for 2 nights while travelling the Carretera Austral. A real 'wow' factor on arriving at the lodge - superb views, lovely lodge and excellent staff. It is quiet and remote enough to get away from it all, but still with access to local activities. The team couldn't do enough for us and we particularly enjoyed the food produced by Jean, the new chef.Posted on Google Brad DeloreyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed in the standard room in the main lodge. It is a lovely room with amazing views of the valley and Cerro Castillo. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The delicious 4 course meals were prepared by Chef Diego and were much appreciated after a long day of hiking or sightseeing. It was also lovely meeting fellow travellers from around the world and sharing our lives and travel adventures with each other. Tips: I recommend renting a 4x4 for the area and also doing the horseback riding (which the lodge can organize for you). Do the small hikes on the property they are beautiful and you might even meet some friendly horses 🐴 Note: DO NOT attempt to drive yourself up to the property without a 4X4 and even if you have one, do not attempt to drive up unless you are experienced driving a 4X4. The road is quite steep with several switchbacks. You can park at the bottom and have staff come collect you.Posted on Google John HopeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed in the standard room above the main lodge. Beautiful views across the valley and of Cerro Castillo. Enjoyed the food and hospitality. They helped arrange activities including horseback riding, trekking and kayaking to the marble caves. Alto Castillo is a really special place.

We want to congratulate Carolina and Adrián, owners of Alto Castillo Lodge, a wonderful place in the heart of the Chilean Patagonia.
The view and proximity to the imposing Cerro Castillo, surrounded by waterfalls and ancient forests, are astonishing.
The warmth of the hospitality and the exquisite taste of the lodge, in complete harmony with nature, makes it an unforgettable destination.
Alto Castillo Lodge is located at 3.5 km from the Villa Cerro Castillo in the Aysén Region. Situated within 65 hectares of private land in a completely untouched environment, it holds a prime location at the foothills of Cerro Castillo National Park.
From Santiago, Chile, a two-hour flight will take you to Balmaceda Airport. From there, a 72 km drive on paved road leads you to Villa Cerro Castillo. Afterward, you’ll take a detour onto the gravel road known as the “Sendero de Chile,”. From this detour, at 3.5 km you’ll find the entrance to the lodge.
